RaspberryPi5 Setup

The Raspberry Pi5 is currently compatible with RoninOS.

Requirements

Requirements for a Bitcoin Node custom build:

  • Single-board ARM Computer
  • Proper heat sink or fan
  • 2TB SSD - M.2 NVME, SATA
  • MicroSD 64GB Grade - A2, V30
  • Power Supply - Must be properly rated

Following the requirements above, here is an example of a Raspberry Pi5 based build. If you do not follow these requirements then you will probably have hardware issues.

  1. Raspberry Pi 5 - 16GB RAM

  2. GeekPi Case - SSD Compatible

  3. Western Digital SSD - M.2 NVME GEN3

  4. SanDisk Extreme MicroSD - 64GB A2 V30

  5. Power Supply - 27W USB-C
